This is an original encaustic painting on cradled birch wood. It is gallery width which means it is 1.5 " in depth. The sides are neatly stained and varnished to show the beautiful wood grain. This is a wildrose; commonly found across Alberta and the Rockies all the way down to Central America.
Keep in mind that this painting is difficult to photograph due the the dark paynes grey reflecting any light! It's a stunner for your living room or wherever you spend the most time.
