The Castellija flower is also known as the "paintbrush" here in Canada. It's a super hardy flower, that easily adapts in a bunch of different climates and altitudes. I enjoy seeing it regularily in the Rockies, and even saw several in high alpine Costa Rica!
This encaustic (beeswax) painting is done on wood and is ready to hang with cleanly stained edges. Enjoy!
